Comment
The Book of Hours (ff. 1-255) may have been illuminated by a Flemish artist, active in the Tudor court (Blackhouse, Books (1985), p. 79). The manuscript has also been attributed to a Paris workshop (Henry VII: Man and Monarch (2009), p. 117). The English rubrics in the appended devotional miscellany (ff. 256-303) indicate that it is likely to have been produced in England.
